
A Delta Air Lines plane caught fire at Orlando International Airport on Monday (local time). However, all the 282 passengers on board the flight escaped unhurt. The passengers were evacuated from the plane through emergency slides.
Quoting the Federal Aviation Administration and Delta Airlines, the report said the plane took off on the runway to fly to Atlanta. Two vehicles were set on fire during the incident. The incident of the plane’s engine catching fire was captured on the mobile of a passenger present in the terminal. Flames were coming from the right engine of the plane. The FAA has launched an investigation into the incident.
The airline has apologised for the incident
According to media reports, the airline has expressed regret for the incident of fire in the plane. The airline says that when flames were observed in the tailpipe of one of the plane’s two engines, the Delta flight crew followed procedures to evacuate the passenger cabin.
Airlines will take passengers to their destination by other planes

According to the airline, the passengers will be transported to their destinations by other aircraft. The aircraft is also being inspected by the maintenance team.
