‘Shashtipoorthi’ is a movie produced by MAA AAI Productions with Rupesh in the lead role. Nata Kireti Dr. Rajendra Prasad and two-time National Best Actress Award winner Archana star in the film. 38 years after the release of the classic film ‘Ladies Tailor’, this is the film where they are both acting together. Akanksha Singh played the female lead opposite Rupesh. Pawan Prabha is the director. Produced by Rupesh Chaudhary. Glimpses of the film were released by the team at an event in Hyderabad.
On this occasion, actor Kiriti Rajendraprasad said.. “Shastipurthi.. is this luck for me alone.. or is it for someone else? In real life I avoided getting six-pack after I passed sixty. But does God rest? This is how he completed six. I should think that the films I did after ‘Ao Four’ were alms given by God. Children will not have the opportunity to witness the marriage of their parents. But if there is any wedding that children can see, it is Shastipurti. Shashtipur is very important for every man. Director Pawan gave me an opportunity to make a wonderful film. Even though he was a first time producer, he made sure that there was no difference anywhere. Ilayarajagaru, Keeravanigaru, Chaitanya Prasad have all worked for this movie.. It can be understood how well he has taken care as a producer. From then Brahmanandam to now Chanti, everyone respects me. Rupesh acted very well as the hero. Akanksha acted with me earlier as my daughter. Archana’s movie ‘Ladies Tailor’ is already her matured actress. We, who acted all those years ago.. are really happy to meet again like this. Both our roles are amazing. Shastipurti is a good story. People who love Telugu tradition and culture.. I want to anchor such movies. I want everyone to go and watch this movie in theaters with their families.”
Actress Archana says, “After a long gap, I am coming back to the Telugu audience. Probably none of you have seen Tamil movies like Rajendra Prasad as a hero. But I always look there. He is an actor that everyone wants. An actor needs this recognition. With that recognition, he continues to be a legend. The fact that they are bringing the film to us by thinking of such a good combination means that they have a great heart. Producer, hero Rupesh, director worked hard for this movie. They know how much passion and love cinema means. They are all like my children. I sincerely convey my blessings to all of them,” he said.

Film director Pawan Prabha said.. “I have to say thank you card to many people. Thanks to the producer Rupesh for giving me so many technical experts. My second thanks.. to Rajendraprasad and Archanammagari. Because, in this movie, they took the movie somewhere with their power packed performance. Rupesh sir always said the same thing. Whatever film we make, there should be good values in it. They used to say that there should be morals and ethics. Any movie with these three will end up like that. They said that I should do such a film. That’s how this ‘Sashtipurthi’ came. I am a big fan of Ilayarajagari. Chaitanya Prasad gave me a gift like gold. That gift is not someone else’s Keeravani sir. Rahman didn’t come here but he also wrote two good songs. Even when I was writing the script, I wrote Janaki. Even in my phone, the heroine’s name is Janaki. Even today I don’t know her name properly. I am fixed as Janaki. I will tell you more details about the film soon.”
