Two of your films are coming out for Sankranti? Tell us about them?
It’s always a pleasure for any actor to get a film for Sankranthi. Game Changer is coming up in Telugu and Vishal’s film is coming up in Tamil. I hope both these films get a good response.
Tell us about your character in ‘Game Changer’?
My character’s name in Game Changer is Parvathi. My mother’s name is also Parvathi. When Shankar told the story… when he mentioned the character’s name, my mother came to mind. I have been waiting since then to tell that at the pre-release event. This character demanded a lot from me. I think I also acted at the same level. Shankar saw my performance and praised me in many places. This will be the best film and character in my career. Everyone who worked on the film will get a good name.
What preparations did you make for your role?
I didn’t prepare anything special for the role of Parvati. Shankar garu already said that there would be suspense and twist in my role. So I shouldn’t say too much about that character yet. It will be very fresh when the audience sees it in the theater. Even after coming from the sets, this character has been haunting me for a long time. This is the best character in my career.
What challenges did you face in playing this role?
Any actor tries to act on screen based on the events and experiences that happen outside. But the character in this film, the backdrop, is very new. I have never encountered such events and people. It felt very new. That is why I had to work very hard to play this role and convince the audience with my acting.
How is your journey going to be with the new character?
Shankar garu has said a lot about my character. There is a lot of soul in my character. Instead of revealing too much, they have put fewer shots in the trailer and teaser. The audience will feel thrilled when they see my character on screen. Appanna and Parvathi’s love and their bond are very great. That is a plus for this film.
How was your work experience with Ram Charan?
Ram Charan gives comfort to his co-stars. He is very calm on screen and off screen. He gets along well with everyone on the sets. He talks well with everyone. This film is special for me in every way as it is Dil Raju’s banner, Shankar’s film and my first film with Ram Charan. Everyone wants to act in Shankar’s and Mani Ratnam’s films. I felt happy to get a chance in Shankar’s film.
Tell us about the song you did with Ram Charan?
We released a song called Aruga Maa at the pre-release event. This song is already trending on Reels. It is not only my favorite song but also the entire team’s favorite song. It is a song that will last forever. All the songs like Balupu, Vakeel Saab, which Thaman gave me, will be forever lasting. Now this song will also be forever lasting.
