After an exhilarating year marked by several high-profile releases, Shah Rukh Khan has decided to take a step back from the limelight to spend cherished moments with his family. His next project, titled ‘King’, is a gangster action drama that holds significant importance for the Bollywood icon. Beyond being a regular film, this project proudly showcases his daughter, Suhana Khan, making her silver screen debut.

Initially, the film was to be helmed by renowned director Sujoy Ghosh. However, recent updates reveal a new direction for ‘King’. Siddharth Anand, celebrated for his work on ‘Pathaan’, has now taken over as the film’s director. This transition is noteworthy as Anand was originally onboard to supervise action sequences but is now entrusted with the entire project. Reports suggest that his vision promises to deliver groundbreaking action sequences, surpassing traditional expectations in Hindi cinema.

The film boasts a well-crafted narrative, with each character receiving significant development, ensuring a rich viewing experience. Furthermore, the team is actively searching for a leading lady to star opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Production is slated to begin in March 2025, with a target release set for 2026. Abhishek Bachchan will portray the antagonist, adding another layer of excitement to this highly anticipated film, brought to life by Red Chillies Entertainment.
