Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus are officially more than just friends. The British actress and the American country singer confirmed their relationship over the weekend with a joint Instagram post, putting months of speculation to rest.
On Sunday, April 20, Hurley shared a photo of herself leaning into Cyrus as he kissed her on the cheek. The two posed outdoors against a wooden fence, both dressed in relaxed, spring-themed outfits. Hurley simply captioned the image, “Happy Easter ❤️.”
The post immediately drew attention online, with fans and media outlets commenting on the unexpected pairing. It’s the first time either has publicly acknowledged the relationship.

Earlier this month, rumors began circulating when Hurley posted a slow-motion video from a beach in the Maldives, set to Cyrus’s 1992 track “She’s Not Cryin’ Anymore.” She tagged the singer in the post, which only fueled speculation about their connection.
Cyrus, 62, finalized his divorce from singer Firerose in August 2024, after less than a year of marriage. The two had tied the knot in October 2023. Before that, he was married to Tish Cyrus for nearly three decades. Hurley, 58, was previously married to businessman Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2011 and has had high-profile relationships with actor Hugh Grant and cricketer Shane Warne.
Neither Hurley nor Cyrus has commented further on their relationship status, but Sunday’s post appears to be a soft launch of sorts. Reactions have ranged from surprise to support, as the pairing wasn’t on most celebrity-watchers’ radar.
Whether it’s a serious romance or a new chapter for both, the couple’s Easter post has certainly made things official — at least on social media.
