Lar Park Lincoln, the scream queen who went toe-to-toe with Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, has died at 63. Yep, Tina the Telekinetic is gone — and we’re not okay.
Her acting school, Actors Audition Studios in Dallas, broke the news, confirming Lar passed away on April 22. No press release drama. Just heartbreak for the horror fam.
Back in 1988, Lar gave us one of the wildest Jason face-offs ever — forget running, she used her mind to throw the dude around. Iconic. And she didn’t stop there — she came back decades later in the fan film Rose Blood and popped up in 13 Fanboy, proving she never left the genre that loved her most.
But Lar wasn’t just a horror heroine. She played Linda Fairgate on Knots Landing, had guest spots on 90210, Murder, She Wrote, and even Freddy’s Nightmares. She was like your favorite 80s TV aunt — if your aunt could blast monsters across the room.
Off-screen, she was a teacher, mentor, and total badass. She wrote a book (Get Started, Not Scammed) to help actors dodge the shady side of Hollywood and ran her own acting studio.
Lar had battled breast cancer since 2008 and somehow kept giving — to fans, to students, to the screen. She leaves behind two kids, four grandkids, and a whole army of fans who still flinch when they hear a chainsaw rev.
