Neeraj Chopra married tennis player Himani Mor in a private ceremony in Himachal Pradesh. The couple, who value privacy, celebrated with close family while Neeraj continues to focus on his athletic career.
India’s Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra recently announced his marriage to tennis player Himani Mor. The announcement came shortly after Neeraj expressed that his personal life would remain private. On January 16, the two celebrated their union in an intimate ceremony held in Himachal Pradesh, surrounded by close family members.
Himani Mor, the wife of Neeraj Chopra, is not only an accomplished athlete but also a dedicated coach. Originally from Sonipat, Haryana, Himani has a rich sports background with a top national ranking of 42 in singles and 27 in doubles. After completing her degree in political science and physical education, she furthered her education in the USA and currently manages the women’s tennis program at Amherst College.

Both families played a pivotal role in arranging this significant event, which Neeraj and Himani preferred to keep low-key. Neeraj’s paternal uncle, Bhim Chopra, shared insights about the marriage and emphasized the couple’s desire for privacy. The whole Chopra family is reportedly delighted, acknowledging the new journey that lies ahead for this talented duo.
As Neeraj embarks on this new chapter off the field, he continues to focus on his athletic career, having recently trained under world renowned coach Jan Zelezny. The couple’s decision to keep this event private aligns with Neeraj’s earlier comments about personal boundaries and the importance of maintaining one’s own narrative.
