Ranveer Allahbadia’s controversies have shaken the entire planning of companies that produce shows in bulk featuring social media influencers.
20 Shows Dropped Simultaneously on OTT!
While audiences were already excited on Valentine’s Day about not having to pay separately for Disney+ Hotstar and JioCinema, the newly merged OTT platform Jio Hotstar quietly released 20 new shows all at once. Interestingly, all these shows feature top social media influencers.
Zakir Khan, the stand-up comedian who flopped badly on Sony TV, is now coming to Jio Hotstar with his show “Love Life Lafde”. The show is reportedly so poorly made that watching even the first episode feels like a challenge.
Apart from this, Harsh Gujral and Upmanyu’s show “Roka Ya Dhoka” is also considered extremely boring.
Similarly, Jio Hotstar has released several other shows featuring influencers like Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Malhan, Rahul Dua, Munawar Faruqui, and more.
