Shreya Chaudhry Talks Bandish Bandits 2 Success

Mumbai – Shreya Chaudhry has had a remarkable two months. Following the successful premiere of the second season of Bandish Bandits on Amazon Prime Video in December, which earned her critical acclaim, she is now being praised for her performance in Boman Irani’s The Mehta Boys. In a recent interview, Shreya reflects on her journey in 2024 and shares her hopes for 2025.

Looking back at her early career, Shreya describes herself as an ambitious actor with an insatiable thirst for improvement. “I’m a very thirsty actor. So, my thirst is never quenched. Even on a good day, I don’t feel okay. I always believe I can do better,” she said. This relentless drive has fueled her to headline two major critically acclaimed projects recently.

Shreya also opened up about her approach to auditions, which she views positively. “I’ve never seen auditioning as a negative thing,” she shared. “That is my sole way to convince you to cast me in something I really want to do. If I enter a room, the first thing I say is, please test me, even if they say that they don’t audition, which has happened, yeah. Sometimes, I don’t use the word audition,” she added.

She believes the audition process works well for her at this stage. “With time, when I also become a little more experienced, maybe I won’t need that because there are a lot of actors who don’t audition,” she explained.
