On December 23, in a heartwarming announcement, Cori Broadus, the 25-year-old daughter of rapper Snoop Dogg, revealed that she is expecting her first child with fiancé Wayne Deuce. This news comes as a delightful surprise, as Cori shared, “I found out on October 28. This baby is so unplanned, but we are soooooo blessed.”
Cori has faced significant health challenges, diagnosed with lupus at the tender age of 6. Now, six months into her pregnancy, she expresses feeling great despite being categorized as high risk. “Doctors were very concerned for me and the baby, but God has his hands on me, and me and the baby are doing perfectly fine,” she explained in her interview with E! News. She joyfully announced, “I’m having a girl!”
Interestingly, Cori shared the family’s reaction to the news, conveying how her parents, Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus, were overjoyed. She said, “My mom and dad were so excited, their baby girl is having a baby.” While Snoop hopes for a grandson, Cori is thrilled at the prospect of nurturing her daughter, emphasizing her desire to instill confidence in her child. “I just want to love on my baby girl and make her feel like she’s the prettiest in the world,” she stated. This journey will be showcased in E!’s upcoming special, “Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori,” documenting their experiences as they prepare for this new chapter.
