Everyone knows for one of the world famous film awards, Oscar. But as always, this year too, the 97th Academy Awards ceremony will be grand. In this order, many films from many countries are competing in many categories. But even though many films were sent from us on behalf of the federation, they did not get an official entry in the Oscar circle. And in our country, some films, not from the Federation, have made it to the eligible list.
And among these films, Suriya’s huge film Kangua and Malayalam actor Prithvi Raj Sukumaran’s The Goat Life (Adu जीव) and four other films from India have made it to the list. But those films were ‘Santosh’ from Hindi and another film ‘Swathantyra Veer Savarkar’ and ‘All We Imagine as Light’ and ‘Girls Will Be Girls’ from Malayalam cinema. But as the voting starts tomorrow from January 8, it remains to be seen which of these will go to the end.
