The Turkey Leg Hut drama just turned extra crispy. Lynn Price, the former co-owner of Houston’s legendary food hotspot, has been slapped with federal arson charges — and it’s not over some overcooked wings.
According to the feds, Price allegedly cooked up a plan in 2020 to torch Bar 5015, a rival spot tied to a former business partner. Yeah, the same Bar 5015 that exploded and caused over $750K in damages. That’s not just smoke — that’s a full-blown fireball!
Investigators say Price didn’t work alone — he allegedly pulled in Armani Williams and John Lee Price to help carry out the gasoline-fueled plot. Spoiler alert: things got lit… and not in the good way.
But wait, there’s more! Price is also being linked to a separate blaze — involving a stolen ’75 Chevy Nova. Apparently, when he goes vintage, he really goes up in flames.
The trio now faces up to 20 years behind bars, plus a spicy $250,000 fine. Price and John Price could get an extra five years for that classic car stunt.
Price was denied bond, while the other two pleaded not guilty and got released. As for the Turkey Leg Hut? The once-buzzing eatery shut down last year amid bankruptcy and legal mess. Safe to say… this leg’s officially fried.
